INGREDIENTS:
- 3/4 cup natural creamy, cashew, peanut or almond butter (We used cashew)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil or olive oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 cup ground flaxseed
- 1/2 cup TAHA Vanilla protein powder
- 2.5 ounces, dark chocolate 85%
- Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling on top
METHOD:
- In a medium bowl, mix cashew butter, honey, coconut oil, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add ground flaxseed and TAHA Vanilla Protein Powder, stirring with a spoon, then using your hands until it forms a dough-like texture.
- Press the mixture into a parchment-lined 8x4-inch pan.
- Melt 2.5 ounces of dark chocolate in a small saucepan until smooth. Pour over the mixture, tilting the pan to spread it evenly.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour, then slice into 10 squares. Store covered in the fridge for up to two weeks.
