Acai protein bowl

Adding whey protein to an acai bowl is a great way to enhance its nutritional value. Acai is packed with antioxidants, especially anthocyanins, which help fight free radicals and reduce inflammation, along with fiber to support digestion and heart health. It also contains healthy fats like omega-3, which promote brain and cardiovascular function. When combined with whey protein, which provides essential amino acids for muscle repair and growth, the acai bowl becomes a more complete meal, supporting recovery, boosting energy, and promoting satiety, all while helping balance blood sugar and fueling your body with vital nutrients.

INGREDIENTS:

  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • ¼ cup yogurt, vanilla, plain or honey flavor
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • medium frozen banana
  • 1½-2 tbsp Acai powder
  • scoop of TAHA Vanilla protein powder

OPTIONAL TOPPINGS

  • Sliced banana
  • Mango 
  • Dragon fruit
  • Strawberries stem removed and sliced
  • Blueberries
  • Shredded coconut
  • Chia seeds

METHOD:

  1. Prepare and slice your desired toppings and set aside.
  2. Add milk, yogurt, berries, banana, Acai, and protein powder in a high-speed blender.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy (stop and stir mixture when needed).
  4. Assemble the bowl. Pour the smoothie mixture into a bowl. Top with sliced bananas, strawberries, blueberries, coconut, and chia seeds. Serve immediately.
