Extra protein chicken tenders

Craving a crispy, high-protein snack? These Golden Protein Chicken Tenders are just what you need! Made with TAHA’s grass-fed Natural Protein Powder, panko bread crumbs, almond meal, and freshly ground black pepper, these tenders are packed with flavor and essential nutrients. They’re oven-baked to golden perfection, delivering the satisfying crunch of classic chicken tenders without the guilt. Whether you’re fueling up post-workout or prepping a family-friendly meal, these protein-rich tenders offer a deliciously healthy twist on a comfort food favorite!

Cook time: 20 minutes

Coating

  • 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup almond meal
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika or other spice/herb of choice


Batter

  • 1 egg
  • 1 scoop TAHA Natural protein powder
  • 1 scoop of water
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 500g / 1 lb chicken tenderloins or a breast cut into 2/3" / 1.5cm thick slices
  • Olive oil

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 390°F/200°c.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix the coating ingredients together.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the batter ingredients together.
  4. Line a tray with parchment paper and brush olive over the paper.
  5. Dip chicken in batter, then coat with crumbs and place on tray; repeat until all chicken is coated.
  6. Lightly drizzle olive oil on top of the chicken.
  7. Place the tray in the oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes, flipping the chicken over at the half way point (once it is golden on one side).


We love to serve the chicken with mayonnaise and a healthy sprinkle of Togarashi (Japanese spicy seasoning)
