Coating
- 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 3/4 cup almond meal
- 1 teaspoon Paprika or other spice/herb of choice
Batter
- 1 egg
- 1 scoop TAHA Natural protein powder
- 1 scoop of water
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 500g / 1 lb chicken tenderloins or a breast cut into 2/3" / 1.5cm thick slices
- Olive oil
Method
- Preheat oven to 390°F/200°c.
- In a shallow bowl, mix the coating ingredients together.
- In another bowl, whisk the batter ingredients together.
- Line a tray with parchment paper and brush olive over the paper.
- Dip chicken in batter, then coat with crumbs and place on tray; repeat until all chicken is coated.
- Lightly drizzle olive oil on top of the chicken.
- Place the tray in the oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes, flipping the chicken over at the half way point (once it is golden on one side).
We love to serve the chicken with mayonnaise and a healthy sprinkle of Togarashi (Japanese spicy seasoning)
