Eggy bread, pain perdu or French toast – Whatever you call it, start your day the right way and treat yourself to this delicious and easy breakfast!

Servings: 5-6
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup milk of choice
- 1 scoop of TAHA Whey Protein Powder (We love using vanilla)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 6 slices of bread
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Optional for serving
- Maple Syrup
- Powdered Sugar
- Butter
- Mixed berries (fresh or heated frozen berries)
METHOD:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, protein powder and cinnamon.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a nonstick or cast iron frying pan over medium heat until foaming.
- Dip each slice of bread in the mixture, making sure the slice is evenly coated on both sides.
- Once the pan is at the desired temperature, add a slice of bread, and cook for 2-3 minutes, flipping halfway through. Continue with remaining slices, adding more oil when needed.
- Top with sifted powdered sugar, a dollop of butter, maple syrup, or any mixed berries you love!
- Serve immediately while hot.
- Enjoy!
